Forecast Updated 10:57 PM WEDNESDAY

We're just getting started with the heat and humidity. The next several days will be hot and humid. It will be perfect weather for being in the water, but it can be dangerous for those that don't handle heat well or don't have A/C. Make sure to check on the elderly and those without easy ways to cool off.

Skies will become partly cloudy tonight. It will still be warm and muggy. Lows will be in the low 60s with a calm wind.

A weakening cold front could spark off a few chances of isolated thunderstorms on Thursday. Otherwise, it skies will be partly cloudy. It will be hot and humid again with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.

Partly cloudy skies will be expected Thursday night. A few isolated thunderstorms could develop early. It will remain muggy outside as lows drop into the low 60s.

Looking ahead, a slight chance of storms could develop on Saturday as the cold front dissipates to our west. It should calm down just in time for any fireworks that have not been cancelled. We'll see highs in the 90s both Friday and Saturday. Sunday through Tuesday we'll introduce more storm chances with highs in the 80s. Things will dry out Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 80s.

MAKE it a GREAT Day!
