FORECAST UPDATED 8:00 AM MONDAY
The tame weather pattern continues for the foreseeable future. After a high of 26 degrees on Saturday and 32 degrees on Sunday under abundant sunshine, we bring back more cloud cover today and look to land in the upper 20s.
Call it mostly cloudy ( pockets of haze and localized fog are around as well ) this morning with a trend toward a bit better sun this afternoon. Southwest winds will show just a bit of a breeze at 5-15 mph.
The cold start in the single digits for some, lower teens for others evolves into a seasonable afternoon. The average high for this December 10th in Rhinelander is 27 degrees, we should be very close to that before all is said and done.
Look for mostly clear skies this evening with more clouds moving back in during the overnight. Lows bottom out in the mid teens.
Tuesday brings mostly cloudy to partly sunny conditions and highs again in the upper 20s. We keep it dry across northern and central Wisconsin.
Wednesday offers up cloudy skies and a chance for some flurries or a few snow showers especially during the afternoon. Most of the energy with this weather disturbance likely passes off to our south, however. Numbers max out in the low 30s.
Thursday appears to be a cloudier type of day as well with another weak upper-level disturbance passing through later in the day. Perhaps some flurries or a spell of light snow can occur, nothing important is predicted. Temps get into the lower half of the 30s.
Friday brings mostly sunny skies and a fairly mild afternoon in the middle 30s.
Another sunny day looks to shake out for Saturday along with even warmer numbers climbing to around 40 during the afternoon.
As of now, Sunday should be pretty decent as well. Partly cloudy skies will accompany temperatures in the mid 30s. A cold front may be nearby at some point Sunday into Monday so we will be keeping an eye on this.
Have a GREAT week!
