FORECAST UPDATED 6:07 PM TUESDAY

So far, November 2018 has not produced one day with above average temperatures. We'll briefly test that Friday with high temperatures near 40°. At the same time, our next weather system will approach the region. This looks to lead to some rain showers Friday afternoon before the rain mixes with and changes to snow Saturday.

The light snow and flurries will linger through the overnight hours. Little to no additional snow accumulations are expected. With the cold temperatures, it will take some time for the roads to recover. Otherwise, cloudy with a light north breeze and low temperatures in the middle teens.

A few flurries are possible tomorrow morning as a reinforcing shot of cold air filters into the region. The skies will stay mostly cloudy as high temperatures get stuck in the upper teens.

Mostly cloudy and cold tomorrow night. Any break in the clouds will allow temperatures to drop quickly. Low temperatures in the single digits will be common with a light north breeze turning out of the southeast late.

Looking ahead, Thanksgiving Day will be mostly cloudy, breezy and cold. The south southeast wind will occasionally gust near 20 MPH with high temperatures in the upper 20s.

Then we get wet, rain showers are expected to move into the region Friday afternoon. This will be the start of several days with precipitation in the forecast. Look for the rain to mix with snow before changing over to all snow Saturday afternoon.

MAKE it a GREAT Day
