Cincinnati - It took nearly five full quarters of football, but the Green Bay Packers prevailed over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week Five. After a slow start, Aaron Rodgers and company exploded in the second quarter to the tune of 16 unanswered points. However, the Bengals would keep finding themselves back in the game.
Ja'Marr Chase tortured the Packers secondary with six catches for 159 yards and one touchdown. On top of that, Packers kicker Mason Crosby missed an extra point and three field goals--including two potential game winners that allowed Cincy to keep the game close. Fortunately for the Pack, Bengals kicker Evan McPherson also missed a couple of field goals and that gave Green Bay one final chance to win.
After Rodgers connected with Randall Cobb to set the team in field goal territory, Crosby redeemed himself with a 49-yard walk-off kick to lift Green Bay to a 25-22 victory.
The Packers were lead by Rodgers and Davante Adams, who hauled in 11 receptions for a career-high 206 yards and one touchdown.
Green Bay has now won four games in a row and will face the division rival Chicago Bears next week.
