Wheaton, IL - The man charged with killing Rhinelander's Hannah Miller over the summer was in court Monday, in Illinois. Christopher Terrell Anderson declined the public defender given to him, saying he still wants to hire this own lawyer. A judge set a new court date of Sept. 24 to give Anderson time to hire private counsel. He was booked into DuPage County Jail on Sept. 7.

Anderson awaits an extradition hearing. He can also waive his right to an extradition hearing. Anderson would be extradited to Oneida County for further court proceedings.
