Each year, fairgoers at the Oneida County Fair get to watch and participate in many different events including live music and the petting zoo, among others. But there is one event that brings enjoyment to the fair crowd, the Sexiest Legs in a Kilt Contest, where men gather to wear kilts showing off their sexy legs in hopes of winning the grand prize.

"I think this is the fourth or fifth year the kilt contest is going on, and every year it just gets better and better. This year has been the most exciting one yet. People came dressed up, the hodag was here, lots of drama, it was wonderful and very entertaining for everybody I think," said Kerry Bloedorn.

Bloedorn, the vice president of the fair committee and sexy kilt participant, took home the first-place belt this year even with the fierce competition. He says every year the competition grows more and more heated.

"I did not expect the win," Bloedorn said. "There was so much great competition, so many sexy legs and kilts up there on the stage, and yeah, thrilled to have pulled out another belt."

Bloedorn adds that the competition allows for men to show a side of them that they might be too scared to show otherwise and provides a fun event for people looking for a good time.
