Antigo - The Legion Baseball state tournament has begun and there are two local teams that are still alive. The third of four games on the day was between Ahnapee and Medford.

Ahnapee would score four runs in the third inning and never look back. Medford falls in this one 6-1. With the loss, they now move to the elimination bracket and will face Waupaca.

-Antigo against Beaver Dam was the final game of the day. Antigo got off to a hot start, scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. Eli Fleischman and Logan Thomae both had two RBI base hits, which helped Antigo get out to an early lead.

In the second inning, Fleischman would add two more RBIs to state line but this time from a home run. He finished with four RBI's on the day. Antigo is moving on in the bracket after beating Beaver Dam 7 to 4. Their next opponent is Kaukauna.

-The high school track and field season ended in La Crosse about a month ago, but the season doesn't stop for the kids in the Three Eagle Track Club. The group opens its doors for all ages to come and practice their skills throughout the summer.

On Friday, they held their last meet of the season.
