Northwoods - On the diamond, Rhinelander softball opened up postseason play with a 14-1 win over conference rival Lakeland Union. Chequamegon fell to Ladysmith 7-4, Three Lakes' season ended to Crivitz by a final of 5-4, and Crandon advanced past Manawa 8-6.

In boys tennis, Rhinelander's double team of Joseph Heck and Jake Losch took first place in their sectional flight. 

Then, star basketball players from Northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula took part in the Border Bash All-Star Game. Team Wisconsin won in both the boys and girls games. The Northwoods was represented by Rhinelander's Ross Skeen, Travis Towne, Quinn Lamers, and Rebecca Lawrence, plus Medford's Peyton Kuhn, Lakeland's Amaya White, and Merrill's Courtney Krueger.
