Eagle River - Professional NASCAR racer Natalie Decker was back in her hometown of Eagle River today to take in some local races and sign autographs for her fans. This was her way of giving back to the people who always show their support.
"Ya know my hometown fans and even all my fans from Wisconsin, all the support they show me is amazing," said Decker.
Another way she was showing her appreciation was by giving a toolbox to the winner of the race.
She decided to give away a toolbox because she was once a young racer, spending all her time at the Eagle River Speedway, which is why this return was so special.
"The last time I was here was probably the last time I raced here and it was in the micro-sprints," said Decker.
Decker, now 23, races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and will be back racing in the Dairy State soon.
"I will be racing one of the NASCAR Xfinity Races in Wisconsin at Road America," said Decker. "It's going to be so wonderful because I know a lot of fans will be attending that race."
The race will be taking place over July 4th weekend in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
