Rhinelander - Postseason play has began for multiple spring sports.

In girls soccer, Rhinelander hosted Baraboo in the first round of regionals. The Hodags dominated this game from the beginning winning 5-0. Their next opponent will either be Marshfield or Portage/Poynette.

The Lakeland Union boys golf team are sectional champions! The Thunderbirds were in Black River Falls and competed against 12 other schools and 72 total golfers. Lakeland won by a combined 5 strokes at 323.

Kaeden Nomm was the top T-Bird in this one. He shot a 76 which was good enough to tie for fourth place. Right Nomm was Matt Haggart in eighth and Cody Olson who tied for eleventh place.

Lakeland will soak up this win, but will also have to prepare for the state meet. States will take place next week at Trappers Turn Golf Club.
