Rhinelander - Over the weekend, Lori Grinde and Nicole Idalski competed in the 2021 Indianapolis Pickleball Open. This tournament was run by the Association of Pickleball Professionals.

The duo team competed in the 4.0, 50+, 60+ category and won gold in their division. There was a total of 10 women's doubles teams in their category.

Grinde is also responsible for the destruction of WJFW's pickleball duo. Last summer, Grinde and Larry McKitrick played NewsWatch 12's Dan Hagen and Griffin Stroin in a friendly match. Grinde and McKitrick demolished the two, not allowing them to win a single set.

Stroin was devastated by the loss, and has not played pickleball since.
