It was a busy day in the Northwoods. With spring sports now in full swing, there was three different sports in action.

In baseball, Auburndale traveled to Prentice to take on the Buccaneers. Eagles run away with this 18-2. Stratford traveled North to face conference foe Chequamegon. The Tigers beat up on the Eagles 14-0. In White Lake, the Lakers hosted Goodman-Pembine. White Lake comes away with the victory in a close one, 4-3.

Multiple softball teams were in action. Phillips hosted Edgar. The Loggers dominate this one winning 15-2. In Eagle River, Northland Pines taking on Calumet. The Eagles beat Rhinelander yesterday and keep the win streak alive. Pines won 7 to 4. Finally, Newman Catholic beats up on Rib Lake by a final score of 22 to 12.

Only one soccer game on the night. Antigo hosting the Waupaca Comets. At halftime, Waupaca led by one goal, but errupt in the second half. Comets defeat the Red Robins 4-0.

Football in May is something you don't see frequently. In Stevens Point, the SPASH Panthers hosted Pulaski in their final game of the year. Tough game for SPASH, as they drop their final game of the year 43-20.
