Northwoods - After having their season cancelled last year, many girls soccer teams in the Northwoods were able to finally hit the pitch again! In Three Lakes, the Blue Jays hosted Northland Pines. A Brook Bennett goal Three Lakes in the first half made it a one goal game, but Pines was too much in this one. Eagles win 5-1.

In Rhinelander, the Hodags battled Great Northern Conference foe Mosinee. Ella Schiek scored two goals for Rhinelander, but this game would be tied at two at the end of regulation. Hodags win the penalty shoot-out 3-2.

The Northland Pines softball team hosted the Medford Raiders in Eagle River. The first inning was full of fireworks. The teams scored a combined 12 runs in the inning, including a two run homerun from Medford's Rynn Ruesch. Raiders pull away and win 22-9.

The GNC hosted their second boys golf conference meet in Tomahawk. Lakeland Union's Kaeden Nomm won his second straight shooting 69 on the day. His strong performance helped guide the Thunderbirds to a team win as well.
