Rhinelander - With a chance of thunderstorms, many high schools feared that they would have to cancel their baseball and softball games. Thankfully, the Hodag Dome was available, and was able to host a triple-header of softball games!

The first game of the day was between Merrill and Antigo. The Blue Jays dominated this one behind a strong performance from Hannah Losee on both sides of the ball. Merrill defeats Antigo 10 to 0.

Medford and Northland Pines was the second game of the evening. Raider's starting pitcher Martha Miller was lethal, striking out the side in the second inning. The Medford offense also showed up. Raiders beat up on the Eagles 15 to 0.

The final game of the triple header was between Rhinelander and Lakeland Union. The Hodags started off the game hot and never looked back. Rhinelander's Kylee White contributed to the teams six run first inning. Hodags take down the Thunderbirds 15 to 0.

The Medford baseball team was also in action, taking on Northland Pines as well. The Raider's starting pitcher Caleb Guden threw a no-hitter against the Eagles! What a way for Medford to start their season.
