Medford - The Medford boys basketball season came to an end earlier in the week after a loss against Rice Lake.
But this team accomplished a great amount including breaking a couple school records.
-Regional champions.
-Won 24 games the most in school history.
-Were 12-0 in the Great Northern Conference. This is the second year in a row they won the GNC while being undefeated.
While basketball is a team sport, the Raiders also had some individual accomplishments.
-Senior guard Peyton Kuhn broke the Medford all-time scoring record.
-Head coach Ryan Brown won his 100th career game.
-Many players on the team were members of the Great Northern Conference 2020-2021 Boys Basketball All-Conference Teams including:
1st team - Peyton Kuhn and Logan Baumgartner
2nd team - Brady Hupf
Honorable mention - Ty Baker
The Raiders had five seniors who were a huge reason for this teams success, but Brown is confident in the future of the Medford program.
"I am thankful that as a program we have some nice young talent coming up," said Brown. "A number of kids that practiced or played with us all this year. So the goal is just to pass on this torch and continue to do the things we do."
