Northwoods - The girls basketball playoffs kept on rolling, the Phillips Loggers hosted Clear Lake in the sectional semi-final. Loggers got the win, 69 to 54. Three Lakes advances with a dominant win over Gresham, 76 to 45. The Bluejays will play Athens in the sectional final after Athens beat Suring, 62 to 52. Crandon's season comes to an end with a 52 to 47 at the hands of Randolph. In division two, Medford's surprise run ends at Onalaska. Hilltoppers beat the Raiders 56 to 48.

Lakeland Union boys hockey hit the ice at the state tournament for the first time in school history. The Thunderbirds fell behind early but tied the game in the second period before Superior put it away in the third. Lakeland's season ends with a 4 to 1 loss.

In gymnastics, the Medford Raiders clinched their third straight sectional team title. Medford finished the night with 132.8 team points.
