Northwoods - A lot of attention is going to the Three Lakes girl basketball team. Blue Jays players Taylor Kolling and Sydney Lurvey both passed 1,000 career points this season, but the Blue Jays boys basketball team is also having a great year! They took on Wausau East tonight. Lumberjacks came out strong and never looked back. Wausau East takes down Three Lakes 56-44. 

The race for the top spot in the Great Northern Conference in girls basketball is starting to heat up. Lakeland Union Medford and Mosinee are all within striking distance. Tonight, Mosinee lost at home to Wausau West 60-56. Lakeland Union defeated Antigo at home 61-42. Finally, Medford went on the road to Tomahawk and beat the Hatchets 80-13.  

In girls hockey, Northland Pines hosted Great Northern Conference foe Medford. Eagles Hailey Krznarich scored two goals within 24 seconds in the first period. Northland Pines goes on to win this match 10-0.
