Madison - Wisconsin quarterback Jack Coan's playing days as a Badger are over. The senior entered the transfer portal on Sunday morning following Wisconsin's win in the regular season finale against Minnesota.

In 2019, Coan lead the Badgers to a 10-4 overall record and appearances in the Big Ten Championship and Rose Bowl games. He finished the season by completing 70% of his passes for 2,727 yards and 18 touchdowns to just five interceptions.

Coan was expected to compete for the starting role in 2020 but a foot injury kept him out indefinitely, allowing Graham Mertz to take over the keys to the offense.

It is unknown when Coan will make his decision about his next school.
