Antigo - The Antigo Public Library has been named the official Santa letter drop-off location.

"Last year we had the opportunity to assist Santa in collecting quite a few letters and pictures from local children. With everyone sticking closer to home this year, Santa felt this would be the perfect opportunity for children to interact with him from all over Langlade County while continuing to stay safe" says Maria Pregler.

Beginning November 30, and running through December 17, Santa will be collecting letters from children in a special Santa mailbox in the library. If you can't make it into the library the letters will be transferred from the outdoor bookdrops into the mailbox. There will also be mailboxes open at the Elcho and White Lake branch libraries.

Any letters written are due to the main branch in Antigo no later than Thursday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m. Santa and his elves ask that you please include the child's mailing address on the letter so Santa can send a personalized response.
