Green Bay - Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams will not play in tonight's Monday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons due to a hamstring injury.

Adams suffered the injury during the Packers' week two win against the Detroit Lions. This is the second straight week Adams has not been able to play.

"Sorry fans and friends, I won't be on the field tonight," Adams said in a tweet that has since been deleted from his account. "I've done everything I need to do and proved I'm ready but I guess I don't know my body as well as others. Good luck out there my boys."

Adams has 17 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns so far this season.

Green Bay will also be without third-year receiver Allen Lazard, who is on injured reserve for at least three weeks with a core injury.

Packers-Falcons kicks off at 7:50 p.m. on ESPN.
