Milwaukee -
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has won the NBA MVP award for the second straight year.

Giannis averaged 29.5 points per game, 13.6 rebounds per game and 5.6 assists per game on just 30.4 minutes per game.

He is now the 12th player in NBA history to win back-to-back MVP awards, joining a list headlined by players like Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

Giannis played the Eastern Conference Semifinals on a tender ankle, which he sprained in the Bucks' Game Four win over the Heat. He would not return in Game Five and the Bucks would go on to lose the series 4-1.

The 2020-'21 season is the final year of Giannis' deal in Milwaukee.
