Wisconsin's Department of Health Services reported 585 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin, Wednesday. The 128 case jump, since Tuesday's report, is the biggest since the cases were confirmed in the state. The announcement also comes after two straight days of small jumps, with less than 50 new cases reported each day.
The hardest hit area is Milwaukee, with 290 confirmed cases and three deaths in the county.
There are still no confirmed cases in Oneida or Vilas County, though testing has been limited. The Oneida County Health Department confirms 53 tests, with 34 negative results, and 19 tests still pending.
The number of tests that have come back negative across the state has now topped 10,000.
