RHINELANDER - The brother of the man accused in the hit-and-run death of a St. Germain motorcyclist appeared in court on Tuesday.
Brian Liebscher is accused of lying to detectives, who were investigating the death of Sean Holtslander.
Liebscher faces one count of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
In October, Judge Patrick O'melia said that the case could be solved the next time Liebscher appeared in court.
District Attorney Michael Schiek indicated an agreement has not been reached.
"We are not prepared to enter any pleas, so Mister Lucareli and I are respectfully requesting another pre-trial conference," said Schiek.
If found guilty, Liebscher can face a fine up to $10,000 and up to 9 months in jail.
He appears in court again in January for a motion hearing.
