Missing Police Dog Found in Portage County
PORTAGE COUNTY - A missing K-9 officer in Portage County gets a reunion with his friends in law enforcement.

The Wood County Sheriff's Department plans a press conference at 1 p.m.

The Wood County Sheriff's Department rescue facebook page confirms Toro has been found.

A post reads "thank you to all that kept an eye open for K-9 Toro. We are glad to report he has been found and reunited with the Sheriff's Department"

Toro is a K-9 officer with the Wood County sheriff's department.

A state trooper had asked for a dog to help search a car in Portage county Sunday night.

After helping with the search, Toro took off into a wooded area behind state Highway 54 at Johnson Avenue.

Officers had been searching for Toro since then.
