- Wisconsin has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis in the country, and that's why a support group called Walk MS in Rhinelander hosted its third annual walk to raise money and awareness for the disease.
More than 100 people came out to walk the two and a half miles around Rhinelander High School on Sunday morning.
The group's goal is to raise $25,000 in Rhinelander and to raise $1.5 million statewide.
Organizers are still counting the money raised and they think they will know the total sometime this week.
Some local people diagnosed with the disease gave speeches and walked as well.
