WESTON - The village of Weston is asking residents to water lawns less this summer. This comes after another well was taken offline because of PFAS contamination.

A recent round of sampling at well 4 showed PFAS contamination above recommended levels. Now wells 4 and 5 five are offline.

The Village can meet customers’ normal water demands for use in the house, but too much lawn watering could force the utility to put Well 3 or 4 back in operation.

Construction of two new Wells 7 and 8 will be starting this summer.
