JOB DUTIES: Forward Service Corporation (FSC) is a diversity inclusive nonprofit that strives to provide exceptional customer service in employment and training. For over 40 years, FSC has been providing services to local, state and federally funded program participants to help them realize a larger sense of possibility about the person they can become. Assess Wisconsin Works (W2) applicant's needs, make referrals and empower them to reach self-sufficiency. Inspire hope for participants and build their strengths. Facilitate job readiness workshops. Provide on-going case management, motivate to participants t achieve goals and hold them accountable. Update case notes, monitor reports and ensure compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS: 18 or older Required. Associate Degree Desired. Associate degree and 2+ years' work-related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Class D - Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) Desired. Must be able to lead, facilitate, and conduct a group case management model. Ability to create and effectively use material that leads to the advancement of W2 participants. Must have the ability to adjust to frequent change in policy, reporting and program delivery. Ability to motivate and inspire participants to make positive changes. Knowledge of state and local labor market. Knowledge of Child Support, Food Stamps Employment & Training, and other related programs. Ability to recognize risk indicators such as AODA, domestic abuse, developmental disabilities, or suspected child abuse. Ability to empower participants to take responsibility for their own employment progression. Ability to learn and implement program requirements and policy based upon state law and administrative rule. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work effectively with program individuals, community organizations, and area employers. Ability to operate a PC using Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of appropriate job search techniques and training. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Organizational capabilities.
