Mary Thompson, Broker Associate® at RE/MAX Property Pros is excited to announce that she will once again this year, be hosting an eyeglass donation throughout the month of March for the local Lions Club. The Lions Club International helps conserve sight by providing usable eyeglasses to persons of all ages. Usable glasses give new life to those in need and offers recipients opportunities for education, employment and a better quality of life. “This is such a great way to support the Lions Club, the community and those in need. I’m excited to partner with the Lions Club and the Recycle for Sight Program again this year. Once all eyeglass donations are received, they are sent to the Lions’ Eyeglass Recycling Center in Plover, WI where trained volunteers sort, clean and determine the prescription strengths of the glasses. Glasses are then given out at eyeglass dispensing missions…free of charge”, stated Mary Thompson. “Last year’s Eyeglass Donation Drive yielded a whopping 475 pairs of eyeglasses! I can’t wait to see what our community is able to do this year!” Please consider donating your gently loved eyeglasses throughout the month of March to the Lions Recycle for Sight Program hosted by Mary Thompson, RE/MAX Property Pros. Put less in the landfill by bringing your unwanted and no longer needed gently loved eyeglasses to any of the following drop off sites: RE/MAX Property Pros 8612 Hwy 51Minocqua RE/MAX Property Pros 5465 Park Street Boulder Junction RE/MAX Property Pros888 West Pine StreetEagle River RE/MAX Property Pros1412 N. 4th StreetTomahawk Note: Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm or Saturdays from 9am to 3pm from now through March 31st.
