- Oneida County Sheriff's Department locked down Rhinelander City Hall today. They were joined by Marathon and Vilas County Deputies and the Wisconsin Department of Justice Digital Forensics Unit. Price County Sheriff's Department also assisted in the investigation.The organizations executed two warrants against an unnamed individual representing the City of Rhinelander.
The warrants were for two felony counts: one of Tampering with Public Records and one of Misconduct in Public Office.
Chief Deputy Dan Hess is heading the investigation. He says more details will be released later. We will interview Chief Deputy Hess for our 5pm broadcast and will update you with any additional breaking news.
