Some of Wisconsin's best painters and artists came together Saturday in Merrill to show off their pieces.
The Merrill Artisans Showcase brought 22 artisans to Assisi Hall.
They showed off paintings, pottery, jewelry and other forms of art.
It was a chance for creative people to advertise themselves to the Northwoods and raise money for the less fortunate in Merrill.
"[This event is] to residents who are at a point where their financial means have diminished," said committee member Helene Ader. "This will hopefully give them a little lift."
The event featured more than just selling art.
There was also a raffle, piano player, wine and cheese.
People got a chance to walk around see what items they wanted to buy.
"It's a great venue for all artisans and we appreciate the art and I appreciate everyone here who loves the arts," said one artisan Greg Nimmer.
This was the eleventh year of the event.
Even though it was a recurring event, several new artists got to celebrate their first time displaying art as well.
