MILWAUKEE - A new survey shows those looking for a home find a wide range of prices in northern Wisconsin. The most affordable homes in Wisconsin are in Ashland. The most expensive houses are in the Milwaukee suburb of Whitefish Bay. Coldwell Banker Real Estate compared the average listing price of a four-bedroom, two-bath home in more than 19-hundred markets across the country.

In Wisconsin, the average price for a home that size was about 464-thousand dollars in Whitefish Bay and about 105-thousand in Ashland. The most expensive markets also include Eagle River, Hudson, and Hayward. Besides Ashland, the least expensive markets include Merrill, Rhinelander, Wisconsin Rapids and Richland Center. The survey shows the most expensive four-bedroom, two-bath home nationally is in Malibu, California. (Copyright 2013 Associated Press - All Rights Reserved)
