A Girls World Submitted: 07/16/2008
While some might assume that girls are not as technologically inclined as boys, in this week's Website Wednesday, I'll show you that the next generation of computer users could be changing that perception.

It's called agirl'sworld.com, a website run entirely by girls.

They do it all - from choosing layouts and graphics, to hosting online babysitting classes and writing advice columns...and they're not alone.

20% of teen boys ages twelve to seventeen blog, compared to 35% of girls.

And while 40% of the guys are posting photos online, 54% of young ladies do the same.

The reason? Apparently all that girl talk is more than just hot air.

Experts say girls outperform boys in english and writing, making them better at expressing themselves, and in turn, natural born bloggers.
