Forecast Discussion

FORECAST UPDATED 7:15 AM TUESDAY

A large storm system that brought heavy rain across southern Wisconsin yesterday will move away from the region today. Winds will become breezy later today which will usher in cooler and less humid weather. There could be an isolated shower or two across the area with highs in the upper 60s and a north wind at 10-20 mph.

Skies will clear tonight with lows in the upper 40s.

High pressure will bring lots of sunshine to the area Wednesday and Thursday with comfortable temperatures in the mid and upper 70s. Our next system is forecast to move in late Thursday night and Friday. This will bring us our next chance for rain. Highs on Friday will be held in the upper 60s.

Look for a mix of sun and clouds for the weekend with highs near 80. A little more humidity will begin to build back into the region as well. While Saturday looks to remain dry, there could be a few showers that develop by Sunday.

Have a good day,
Meteorologist Chad Roethlisberger
