FORECAST UPDATED 7:15 AM WEDNESDAY

Some big changes are coming to our weather pattern beginning today as rain chances will be on the increase throughout the day. Look for cloudy skies with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will be out of the east at 5-10 mph.

Cloudy skies and rain showers are likely tonight. Some of the rain could be heavy at times. Lows will cool into the lower 50s.

A storm system passing to our northwest will bring another round of rain to the area on Thursday. A cold front will move through late in the day which will bring a line of showers and storms to the area. Some of the storms may be strong with heavy rain a possibility. Highs on Thursday will range from the 60s north to 70s and 80s across central and southern Wisconsin.

Rain showers will taper through the morning on Friday with breezy winds. Skies will gradually begin to clear through the afternoon and evening. Quiet weather is expected through much of the weekend with highs in the low to middle 60s.

Small rain chances will return early next week with seasonal temperatures in the 60s.

Have a good day,
Meteorologist Chad Roethlisberger
