EAGLE RIVER - Organizers hope a fashion show will bring in more customers and more money to the Eagle River Memorial Hospital Gift Shop and Thrift Shop.

The Partners-Auxiliary of Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital hosted the All Dolled Up Luncheon and Fashion Show in Eagle River Tuesday.

Auxiliary volunteers modeled clothes and accessories from both the shops.

They enable the Auxiliary to make big donations.

It recently donated $50,000 to the Howard Young Foundation.

"Most of our money comes from the thrift shop. We earn about $5,000 - $6,000 a month," explained Partners-Auxiliary Eagle River Memorial Hospital Co-President Diana Sell.

The group also hosts other fundraising events throughout the year.

About 130 people belong to the Auxiliary.

"They work at the thrift shop, the gift shop, outpatient surgery, at the front desk of the hospital, in physical therapy, the Life Direct office," Sell added.

About 140 people came to the fashion show.

They could buy some clothing and accessories from both shops.

Attendees also had the chance to participate in a 50/50 drawing and raffle.

Newswatch 12's Lauren Stephenson had the honor of emceeing the event.

The Eagle River Memorial Hospital Thrift Shop is located at 209 E. Pine Street in Eagle River.
