Four Brewers Selected to All-Star TeamSubmitted: 07/06/2014

MILWAUKEE - Every July, baseball's best players meet for the All-Star Game. This year, it's close by, Minnesota will play host at Target Field.

For the first time since 2007, the Brewers are sending 4 players.

Two of them were elected National League starters by fans...

Aramis Ramirez will be starting at third base for the first time in his 16-plus years in the majors.

Carlos Gomez will also make his first start in the outfield. Gomez ranks among the league leaders in slugging percentage, total bases, stolen bases and runs.

Catcher Jonathan Lucroy was named to his first all star game as a reserve and Francisco Rodriguez made the NL bullpen via the player ballot. K-Rod leads the Majors with 27 saves.

Also Auburndale native and Nationals pitcher Jordan Zimmerman was selected to his second All-Star game.

The game will be played Tuesday, July 15th.
