Instead of repairing pavilion, Hodag Water Show will build a new oneSubmitted: 07/02/2014

RHINELANDER - Too many cracks and too little space means the Hodag Water Show will need a new pavilion at Hodag Park in Rhinelander.

The waterski club originally thought they could do some repairs on their old building.

But it's in such bad shape, leaders decided to scrap that plan.

Instead, they want to build a brand new one.

That could cost between $13,000 and $20,000.

The club is looking to become an official charitable organization.

It plans to hold events like a kickball tournament to raise money.

The club hopes to have a new pavilion in place by the start of next year's waterski season in June.
