THREE LAKES - A local library wants to bring more art into a Northwoods community.

The Demmer Memorial Library is featuring M.C. Escher's artwork this week.

The exhibit is there to help the public celebrate national library week.

Librarians believe it's also a good way to show people all the different things the library can help with.

"It's a time to thank the public, to show people that there is more to a library than just books. We want to draw people in and show them the variety of services and materials we have available for free," said Stacey Orr, a Librarian.

Some people consider the library to be the heart of the Three Lakes community.

The librarians want to expose people to different cultures and artwork.

"I think it's something they're not normally going to see up here in Three Lakes. It's a chance to bring a little bit of art into the community," said Orr.

The library will have the exhibit until the end of the week.

They hope to continue putting up different exhibits in years to come.
