Conservative group targets Republican Mike EllisSubmitted: 04/10/2014
Story By Associated Press

MADISON - Republican Senator Mike Ellis denies doing anything illegal.

He also claims that a video taken without his knowledge is misleading.

A conservative activist oraganization known for hidden-camera videos, released the recording of Ellias yesterday.

In the video Ellis talks about raising money for a super PAC to attack his Democratic opponent Representative Penny Bernard Schaber.

It is against Wisconsin law for a candidate to coordinate with political action committees or outside groups.

Ellis says he understands that he looks ``terrible'' in the video.

However he never acted on the discussion after realizing the next day that what he was talking about was illegal.
