Medford boys, Tomahawk girls win Northland Pines track meetSubmitted: 04/08/2014

EAGLE RIVER - Northland Pines hosted a GNC indoor track meet Tuesday night.

In the girls 1600 meter run, Tomahawk's Dani Whiting made a pass with 2 laps to go and finished in first with a time of 5minutes 46 seconds.

For the boys 55 meter hurdles, John Puffer of Northland Pines took the top spot in a speedy 8.68 seconds.

And in boys high jump, Rhinelander's Ryan Nehls tied a personal record with a winning jump of 6 feet 2 inches.


In team scores for the boys - Medford won with 128.50. Northland Pines was second, Mosinee third, Rhinelander fourth.

On the girls side, it was Tomahawk rolling to the win with 128.50. Medford second, Mosinee third. Northland Pines finished fourth.
