WAUSAU - The mother accused of wrapping her dead baby in a garbage bag and throwing it in a trash bin in Marathon County WILL go to jail.

A judge ordered seven months in jail for 33-year-old Zoua Yang Tuesday.

She'll also be on probation for three years.

Yang admitted she gave birth to a child while staying with a relative last October in Wausau.

Police believe the baby was stillborn.

Investigators searched the Marathon County landfill for the infant's body after the trash container was hauled away.

No remains were found.

Yang was charged with child neglect and concealing the death of a child.

Yang's two children were removed from her home shortly after charges were filed and now live with their father in Eau Claire.
