THREE LAKES - The man charged in connection to a 2011 Three Lakes home invasion and shooting could face 35 years in prison.

38-year-old Daniel Frausto is accused of being part of a burglary ring in 12 counties.

District attorneys in those counties agreed to a global resolution.

That means they're consolidating their cases into one case.

The state attorney general's office will argue the case.

The prosecuting attorney will ask the judge for a 30 to 35 year prison sentence.

And 20 to 25 years of probation after that.

Two other men, 27-year-old Edwin Hughes and 29-year-old Robert Miles, could also be involved in the ring.

So far the counties haven't agreed to consolidating those charges.

Right now, Frausto is serving a prison sentence in Waupun.

Oneida County prosecutors charged a man in connection with a robbery and shooting in Three Lakes.

Those crimes happened three years ago.

38-year-old Daniel Frausto is charged with three felonies.

In February 2011, Frausto and another man allegedly robbed the home of Donald DalPonte, the owner of Weasel's, an exotic entertainment club.

The criminal complaint says Frausto and another man knocked on DalPonte's door saying they were snowmobilers that ran out of gas.

DalPonte told them they could use a gas can in his garage.

The two men came back and forced their way in.

They allegedly held DalPonte at gunpoint and demanded money.

The other man allegedly shot DalPonte.

Dalponte suffered gunshot wounds in both of his legs.

The men then left, not taking anything of DalPonte's with them.

Frausto allegedly told investigators he made several trips to Oneida County to prepare for the crime.

He told them he targeted the owner of the strip club because he robbed the owner of another club and made away with $50,000.

Frausto was found guilty in connection to burglaries in Brown, Sauk, and Outagamie counties since the early 2000s.

A detective from the Oneida County Sheriff's Office went to Winnebago county last March to participate in a multi-jurisdictional meeting regarding crimes with similarities.

Daniel Frausto was interviewed and made statements regarding a robbery in Oneida County.

He then described the robbery in Three Lakes that investigators say is consistent with the investigation and statements made by the victim.
