UPDATE: Suspect in burglary pleads not guilty
RHINELANDER - Siphanh Phongsavath waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday morning.

Phongsavath faces five charges, two of which are felonies.

Charges include burglary and attempt of misdemeanor theft.

Phongsavath is charged with breaking into the Rhinelander Verizon store back in
November.

Oneida County Assistant District Attorney Steve Michlig thinks Phongsavath's
choice to waive the preliminary hearing benefits the state.

"This is a case which is a little bit unusual than other cases we have. there
are allegations of other charges from other jurisdictions. I think before we
resolve this case, we're going to have to take a look at what's going on in the
other jurisdictions, including the potential for perhaps some federal charges,"
said Michlig.

Phongsavath is also suspected to be part of the Latin Kings gang.

The district attorney's office is hopeful the case will be resolved quickly.

"With the potential for other charges out there, it does offer the state a
certain amount of leverage," said Michlig."The defendant has many things to
worry about and I think that hopefully, it will lead to the ability to resolve
this case with a result favorable to the state and probably more promptly than
otherwise."

Phongsavath entered a not guilty plea. He'll be back in court March 18.

ADAMS COUNTY - 46-year-old Susan Hall, 46- year-old Michael Mathewson and 55-year-old Debra Phillips are suspects involved in hiding the body of Isaac Salinas. 

Salinas went missing around September 11th. 

Three were no obvious sign of trauma to Salinas' body. 
 
His death is suspected to be a result of a drug overdose.

 However, it has not been confirmed by a toxicology report.

TOMAHAWK - A 36- year-old woman was partially ejected from her car near Tomahawk.

The woman lost control of her car and rolled over into a ditch. 

There were no passengers in the car with her.

The woman was air lifted to a Wausau area hospital. 

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says her injuries don't appear to be life threatening.

PORTAGE COUNTY - A motorcycle rider died after a car crash in Portage County Saturday.

A car was trying to avoid another car pulling out of a drive way and slowed down causing the motorcycle rider to hit the back of the vehicle.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead on scene.

The other drivers had no injuries.

The incident is still under investigation.

WAUSAU - The Wausau Police Department arrested 25-year-old Aidan Dobbe in connection to a stabbing Sunday morning. 

The incident happened around 1 a.m. near the intersection of North 3rd and Jefferson Street.
