Brewers to honor Uecker with second statueSubmitted: 01/22/2014
Story By Joe Dufek

MILWAUKEE - In 2012, longtime Milwaukee Brewers radio announcer Bob Uecker was honored by the team. The Brewers unveiled a statue of Mr. Baseball. Fans can see it when they go to Miller Park.

On Wednesday, the Brewers announced a second statue made in Uecker's honor is on the way.

This one will sit in the last row of the upper deck.

Section 422 is known as the "Uecker Seats". That's because they generally give fans an obstructed-view of the game.

Uecker became a national celebrity in the 70s and 80s as part of Miller Lite's "All Stars" ad campaign. Uecker generally had the tagline, "I must be in the front row." Though he always ended up in the nosebleed seats.

It will be dedicated in late April, before the Brewers open a weekend series against the Cubs.
