ANTIGO - Very few athletes make it to the pro level, but two former Antigo classmates have both found success.
They reunited today at the high school.
Justin Berg and Joe Piskula graduated together in 2002. Piskula played hockey for the Badgers. Then he went on to join the L.A. Kings, Calgary Flames and is now with the Nashville Predators organization.
Berg went pro in baseball. He was drafted by the Yankees, then pitched for the Cubs and most recently for the Rockies.
They both presented jerseys for display at the high school and were glad to be recognized.
RHINELANDER - Looking back on his 28 years as airport director, Joe Brauer says he has a lot to be proud of.
"When we got the disabled passenger lift, the non-motorized one, we were very, very proud of that," said Brauer, who's worked as the airport director for 28 years. He's also been in the airline business for 20 years.
Now, the longtime Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport director will be passing things off to a familiar face.
