Elcho's Raith gets record in Lady Hornets winSubmitted: 12/19/2013

ELCHO - The Elcho Hornets girls basketball team is off to a great start.

The Lady Hornets have only lost one game coming into Thursday night.

Undefeated Goodman-Pembine was in town.

Senior Makayla Raith led Elcho with 11 points as the Lady Hornets nipped the Patriots 41-40. Raith broke the school's career scoring record in the win. She is at 1,014 and counting.

Kathy Skidmore (Kennedy) set the previous record. She finished her career with 1,009 points in 1983.

Bill Cosby appearance canceled in Green BaySubmitted: 11/25/2014

GREEN BAY - A performing arts center in Green Bay becomes the latest to cancel an appearance by comedian Bill Cosby.

He's been accused of sexual assault by a growing number of women.

Any tickets bought with a credit card will be refunded by December 10th. The show will not be rescheduled.

In recent weeks, more than a dozen women have accused 77-year-old Cosby of sexual assault years ago. Cosby has not been charged in connection with any of the allegations.

Park Falls airport gets $485k approved for improvements Submitted: 11/24/2014

PARK FALLS - The Park Falls Municipal Airport will get $485,000 of improvements. The money will pay to get the airfield pavement reworked.

Ryan Donnelly, airport development engineer with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), says the project will improve safety and efficiency at the airport.

Governor Scott Walker made the announcement Friday.

The FAA will pay for the vast majority of the project.

The entire country's rate has declined.

Teen moms face a variety of challenges.

Marie Topping found out she was pregnant when she was 19-years-old.

Her daughter Abriella is now 18-months-old.

She remembers when she first found out she was pregnant.

MERRILL - A tanker turned over in Merrill Monday afternoon.

The semi-truck was headed west on Highway R towards Highway K.

That's when the driver lost control around a corner.

The tanker ended up sideways in a ditch.

New details, possible appeal within case of Northwoods sex offender who allegedly made photo booklet of young girlsSubmitted: 11/24/2014

OSHKOSH - A registered sex offender from Rhinelander will likely try again to get new charges against him dropped.

Thirty-two-year-old Albert Chagnon faces 23 felony counts for storing photos of young girls without their parents' permission.

Prosecutors say he made a booklet filled with photos of young girls cut out from newspapers and magazines.

It was found just before he was released from prison last month in Oshkosh.
