Deadly Adams County fire started in camperSubmitted: 11/01/2013
Story By Associated Press

EASTON - A mobile home fire that killed two people in Adams County started in a camper.

The Monday morning fire in Easton killed 79-year-old Ronald Peak and another person who has yet to be identified.

Peak's wife, Joann, is in a Madison hospital with injuries from the fire.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department says the fire started in a camper parked next to Peak's mobile home.

The unidentified victim was in the camper.

Authorities are waiting on DNA test results to identify that person.

The sheriff's department says the fire appears accidental, although the investigation continues.
