CRANDON - Police believe BJ Anderson sexually assaulted very young children at an unlicensed home daycare in Crandon.

That daycare is run by his mother, Nancy Anderson.

She pleaded not guilty to seven misdemeanors in Forest County Court today.

She's charged with child neglect and operating without a daycare license.

"You either can be charged with neglect by your direct acts or your omissions for failure to act. We went under one of those premises, for failure to act," said Forest County District Attorney Chuck Simono.

Prosecutors say Nancy would leave children alone with BJ while she ran errands.

Nancy Anderson will return to court in January.

Her son, BJ, will be in court on November 12.

He faces six felony charges.
