Watch a fun match and help the HodagsSubmitted: 10/23/2013
Story By Lyndsey Stemm

RHINELANDER - The Hodag girls volleyball team wants YOU to come watch them school their teachers in a charity match.

It will go down Tuesday October 29th, at 7 o'clock in the Rhinelander High School Gym.

The game isn't just to show up their teachers though. The team is trying to raise money for the school's current junior class. They hope to take a trip together in their senior year.

Team members are confident they have a good reason to win.

"Well we're going to pretty much beat them pretty badly. We don't want them to win because it's kind of bragging rights for the rest of the year. They'll probably bring it up all the time if they win," says Riley Aschenbrenner, an RHS Junior.

Some of the ideas they've tossed around for their senior outing are a trip to Chicago, Milwaukee or Minneapolis.

They started fundraising last year with bake sales. On Halloween they'll be taking bids for students to dress their teachers up in wacky costumes.

To watch the volleyball showdown it's a dollar at the door.

They're also accepting food donations for the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.
