Story By Marisa Silvas

RHINELANDER - It seems like there's a musky tournament every weekend, but it was bass fishermen getting in the action this time.

The Hodag Bassmasters hosted their annual Boom Lake Open. 33 teams took part in the 2 day tournament fishing for both small and largemouth bass.

More than 230 fish were caught and released and the biggest large mouth bass was 5.16 pounds.

The event brought people from across the state including the winners, from Junction City. They boated a total of 34 pounds of fish.
